Rapattoni Secure Logon implemented
at MetroList Services Inc.

Secure Logon and Single Sign-On launched in preparation for upcoming Northern California Quattro data share

SIMI VALLEY, Calif., March 5, 2007 – MetroList Services Inc., located in Sacramento, CA, has launched Rapattoni Secure Logon with Rapattoni Single Sign-On Identity Portal for its multiple listing service. Tokens were distributed and the system became fully operational for the more than 25,000 MLS participants last week.

MetroList implemented the Secure Logon program as part of its participation in a new data-sharing initiative with the San Francisco Association of Realtors® (SFAR) and Bay Area Real Estate Information Services, Inc. (BAREIS). As of February 20, 2007, phase one of the Quattro Project was completed when subscribers to MetroList, SFAR, and BAREIS were granted reciprocal access to all three MLSs using Rapattoni SSO technology.

Phase two of the project will provide a fourth database known as Quattro which will combine information from the three MLSs into one database for direct access by all subscribers. Scheduled for completion on April 10, 2007, Quattro will provide subscribers with MLS content for fourteen California counties, which cover a population of over 5.6 million.

Tom Beede, MetroList president and CEO, said, “The selection of Rapattoni to be our technology partner plays a key role in the evolution of MLS without boundaries. The Rapattoni Secure Logon and Single Sign-On Identity Portal will provide 42,000 agents with direct access to each participating MLS as well as access to Quattro, the combined database. This is a huge step forward."

Single Sign-On (SSO) enables MetroList members to log on one time – using their user ID and password, and Secure Logon token-based authentication – and then have the ability to access other authorized Web sites without having to log on again. The SSO feature is based on the security-industry standard Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) technology. The MLS can establish "trust" relationships between Web sites, allowing users to navigate freely between them.

“The combination of Secure Logon and Single Sign-On allows us to provide a high level of data security, while also offering exciting new conveniences to our customers,” said Andy Rapattoni, president/CEO.
