Rapattoni MLS upgrade released for all customers

Advanced new mapping features highlight latest release

SIMI VALLEY, Calif., May 14, 2007 – Rapattoni Corporation has rolled out its new Rapattoni MLS version 10.25. All 100+ Rapattoni MLS customer sites were upgraded last month. Notable enhancements in the new version include a revamped mapping system powered by Microsoft® Virtual Earth™.

Significant in the new release are the enhancements to the mapping interface. Map searches have more functionality than ever before. A new polygon selection tool allows agents to search within irregular geographic areas easily; radius searches can now be performed with or without a map; and new aerial and hybrid views allow the agent to make a selection on an aerial image, street map, or a combined aerial image with streets overlaid. Rapattoni has also employed mapping technology from Microsoft Virtual Earth, providing the foundation for even more advance mapping features to be developed in the future. Other developments include the addition of a "Spotlight on the Client Portal" tutorial and client Help for Rapattoni's popular Client Portal feature. Rapattoni's service model includes continuing enhancements and upgrades provided free of charge, to protect the customer's investment in technology and training.
