Rapattoni Provides Seamless MLS and Lockbox Access Via Single Sign-On

SIMI VALLEY, Calif., June 21, 2010 – Rapattoni Corporation (Rapattoni) announced today that it has created a Single Sign-On (SSO) solution that will bring convenience to real estate professionals who utilize the Rapattoni MLS and Supra® lockbox system (Supra).

This SSO solution enables users to log in once and then access either the Rapattoni MLS or the SupraWEB websites. Once logged in, users will not have to enter a username and password to navigate between the two websites. The SSO solution allows for two-factor authentication to take place either with Rapattoni Secure Logon or Supra's electronic keys.

Rapattoni and Supra recently completed this SSO solution for MetroList® Services, Inc. (MetroList®), which services approximately 18,000 subscribers in 34 counties in California. MetroList® offers both the Rapattoni MLS and Supra lockboxes to its users. MetroList® subscribers can now log in to the Rapattoni MLS, click on the listing detail for a property, and hyperlink from that property to the SupraWEB website to access "showing" information reports-all without having to log in multiple times.

The SSO solution leverages the security industry standard Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) technology and passes secure, signed and certified information between SSO enabled websites. When implemented, users who authenticate to SSO enabled websites can then navigate freely between the websites, without being forced to continually enter their login information.
