How can I update the NMS Count field in the Office’s Association Detail form? |
An association’s non-member sales count at NAR is determined by the NMS Count field in the Office’s Association Detail form (accessed by zooming on the association code from the Office Query Form or the Office Information Form). It is important to make sure your NMS count is correct in Magic and thus correct in NRDS, prior to March 31st. This is easily done, using the NMS Count Update utility.

First, select the appropriate association. Then, zoom on the NMS Bill Types field. Here, you want to select only those billing types that are considered non-member salespersons in your Magic database. In our demo database, the billing type ‘S’ represents non-member salespersons.

Be sure to check the Create Change History box so that all office records that are updated by this utility will be flagged to transmit to NRDS.
The NMS count field in the office information form will be updated accordingly. For example, A Number One Realty has 3 members with the billing type of ‘S’ and after the utility is run the NMS Count in the Office’s Association Detail now contains the number 3.
