SIMI VALLEY, Calif., October 2, 2019 – Rapattoni Corporation (Rapattoni) announced today that the Michigan Regional Information Center, LLC (MichRIC®), located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, launched the Rapattoni MLS on Tuesday, July 30. As one of the country’s larger regional associations, MichRIC® encompasses 11 local associations in 22 counties in the Southern and Western of Michigan’s lower peninsula.
MichRIC®, formerly known as SWMRIC® (Southwestern Michigan Regional Information Center), used Rapattoni MLS until 2014 and has now brought the latest version of the software back as part of a “front end of choice” solution for their expanded coverage area. The new Rapattoni MLS is available for all 7,400 MichRIC® members as a standalone option or as part of a premium package that grants access to both of MichRIC®’s MLS systems. This “front end of choice” approach can scale to any size MLS in the market and MichRIC®’s system is one of several similar solutions that Rapattoni operates in different regions of the country.

The new Rapattoni MLS gives MichRIC®’s members access to a wealth of cutting-edge resources, including Rapattoni’s powerful Custom Report Writer, which allows MLS staff, brokers, and agents to create elegant, professional looking reports and flyers in a variety of styles. It also features a redesigned home page with customizable dashboards showing market activity, prospecting results, and other important information at a glance.

MichRIC®’s new Rapattoni MLS also includes Rapattoni’s interactive map search powered by Google Maps™, with custom map layers developed by Rapattoni’s in-house Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team. Map layers include county recorded sales, foreclosures, schools, zoning, NFHL flood data, and transportation, plus an Automated Valuation Model (AVM) layer that provides property valuations based on mathematical modeling of aggregated data.
Single Sign-On (SSO) links to third-party services such as ShowingTime, Zipforms, and DotLoop are integrated within the MLS, as well as links for posting listings to Facebook and Twitter. MichRIC® members can also download the free Rapattoni MLS Mobile App from the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store for instant access to listing information and other MLS data on mobile devices.
Leading up to the launch of the new MLS, Rapattoni presented a series of trainings for agents and staff at several of the local associations’ offices and nearby venues. Topics included searches, mapping, grouping listings on grid displays, and more. The trainings were advertised to MichRIC®’s agents with an email campaign managed by Rapattoni. In addition, Rapattoni sends post-training materials to agents with helpful links and support information.
